We’ve harped on and on about the necessity of having processes and procedures (though I think we’ve had fun on the way!) Project management, after all, is the key to creating successful projects and clients relationships that last.
Maybe you’ve been dragging your feet on implementing processes because “it all seems like so much”. We get it: The nine (or ten, depending on how you look at it) processes can be a little bit intimidating at first blush.
But, trust us— planning and changing ten elements of your business practices can mean the difference between taking a step forward in your career and staying where you are now. The choice is obvious!
That being said, there is no rule that says you’ve got to put all of your processes in place at the same time. So why not focus on the four most important processes, and then see how it goes?
